Elgiloy® alloy (UNS R30003 / 3J21) is a cobalt-chromium-nickel-molybdenum alloy that offers a unique combination of very high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and exceptional fatigue strength. Core Material Characteristics

Elgiloy / 3J21 delivers a unique combination of ultra‑high strength and superior fatigue performance. It offers excellent resistance to sulfide stress‑corrosion cracking, making it the preferred alloy for harsh sour‑well operating environments.

Even at maximum strength levels, Elgiloy exhibits excellent immunity to seawater‑induced pitting, crevice corrosion and stress‑corrosion cracking. It maintains stable mechanical performance across an extremely broad temperature spectrum from cryogenic conditions up to 850 °F (454 °C).

ZYTC Alloy provides Elgiloy UNS R30003 /3J21 in wire, round bar, flat bar, strip and coil. Orthodontic fine wire, spring‑grade wire and precision slit strip can be produced per customer drawings.
